  • Graduating..

I'm entering the next phase of life very soon. Just finished all my exams and i can't believe i'm finishing my Medical Science degree and i got a FULL TIME job right after. How fortunate am i. Everything's going smoothly with my plan i am so thankful to god. Never thought it would be that easy.

I don't really know what i should do now. I feel uneasy for not having to read my thick stack of notes and text books. I feel like taking a break and sleep in everyday. Perhaps i do really need one. There's always no rush to work, right! Anyway will update soon~~ I'm exhilarated!!

  • Weekend with love.

Random souvenirs from Ken from Korea and Hong Kong.

    1. Nature Republic's anti-aging night cream and mask. No idea what Nature Republic was so i googled it. Always have to make sure i don't lay some dodgy formulated cream or mask on my face. To my surprise, Rain is the male ambassador of this new skin care line. I'm not a fan of Rain and yes, i think he's not hot or cute. And the mask Ken got for me has Rain's face on it. I was bewildered and wondered if Ken got the mask for himself. He said it's unisex, great for both man and women. And i asked him again why did the hell he buy the anti-aging cream out of so many products Nature Republic has. "I didn't realize" was the answer for my question. I think! The sales girl must have been so attractive that Ken fell into her persuasion and bought whatever the hot sales girl recommended.

Anti-aging night cream with some miniaturized moisturizer, cleanser, toner, foundation.

    Unisex mask.

    2. Anna Sui Rouge G 300. One of my Anna Sui lip favorites.

    3. Purplish pink knitted scarf by Marja Kurki and it's made of cashmere and is a product of Italy. Again, no idea what Marja Kurki was so i googled it out of curiosity. To my fascination, Marja Kurki is originated from Finland and their products are worn by famous peoples like the late Princess Diana, Hilary Clinton and Madeleine Albright. And they decided to enter the Korean Market this year in March because they realized Korean women are very fashionable and trendy! It's interesting to know how long they take to realize Korean women are chic. Don't worry Japanese or any other Asians, whites, blacks out there, it's indeed time consuming to realize you're chic too.  It's either the stupor or Marja Kurki has not yet landed on other countries except Korea and Finland to come out with this illiberal statement.

Ken said i look adorable with it.

    4. Pink Ice-cream, except not edible. LG ice-cream is not a multi-functional phone with 1376437 applications you can operate. It's just a sleek stylish and simple phone dedicated for sweet young girl like me *cough*. It's so sweet of Ken to get me one.

This is 2nd LG i've used. First was LG Shine.

My friend got me some rhinestones for mobile long time ago and i thought now it's the right time to use them.

The cute thing about LG ice-cream, you can design the external LED with anything you like.

It was Halloween yesterday. No Halloween party for me every year because it always clashes with my exam period. So i went for dinner with Ken's aspiring friends from Brisbane. It was intimidating for me to have dinner with them. One is cardiologist and the wife is a radiologist. Can you think of 3 common interests we share? NOTHING.

Undeniably i felt upgraded instantly going out with Harvard graduate and specialist minus the amount of boredomness i endured for the 4 course dinner which lasted about 3 hours. Their conversation, i mean Ken and his friends' conversation was interesting. What a dentist, cardiologist and radiologist talked about for 3 hours. They (i mean the couple) sighed about how much money specialists make and the amount of stress i'll never comprehend, the joy of getting a Porsche soon, the happiness of being married and having a kid, the travelling and work experiences in Germany, Boston, France whatnot, the plan of purchasing a house by the canal.

I can't chip into the conversation at all. All i did was listen, smile and giggle. What can you expect from me seriously. I can't brag about how perfect my curls are on that day or how great and versatile it is to have a long hair.

From left, radiologist, cardiologist, poor unaspiring student, dentist.

    ♥ Happie Halloween ♥

  • ♥ Ken will be home tomorrow noon. Oh wait!!! It's 1.11 am now which means i'm seeing him in less than 12 hours. Can't wait to give him a big hug at the airport. I'm utterly excited. Ken got me something from Korea will let you know what THEY are if i'm not too busy tomorrow night!  Good night~

  • My beau.

We might have just known each other for few months before we dated. But does it mean it's too soon to date? What is the definition of too soon to date i don't think there is a correct length of time to wait before i know it's the right guy to date. He was certain that he wanted to be with me and i felt the same, why wait?

Others might think i'm too oblivious and unaware of his past. Many kept reminding me, some even tried to influence me their self perception that Ken's not the right guy for me, but without a strong evidence. I believed the world is full of rumors, delusion, and frustrations, and jealousy and hatred which are natures a human possesses. It is not uncommon to find someone who badmouths about others because of the virtue of human natures. Well, some advice might be out of a kind heart, some might be out of personal reason. I can't be certain he's dodgy at all in this relationship but i believe in my instinct and him. Even if he's so, can't i take it as a life challenge. Afterall life's not just about happiness.

There's no guarantee for a life long partner anyway. Can you be sure your husband is completely honest to you. Can you be sure he still loves you as much in 10 years time. There are no absolute answers for these. It's the faith we put on each other. You are not gonna be happy if you keep suspecting and doubting each other.

Some has no confidence in our relationship, some, loathes it out of personal reason. Some has tried to threaten my newfound happiness by dissembling the love and trust i have for him, but this effort will be vague. Everyone seemed to be interested with how i'm living with his past. Everyone has a past. When you are in a relationship you can't worry about stuff that happened before you. So your boyfriend had 5 girlfriends, gone out with innumerable girls, bought gifts for many girls, had a girl before whom he wanted to marry, etc. So what can you do about it when you love this person? "Past is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift that is why we call it present". Dwelling on your loved one's past will just tear you up. If you live with your loved one's past, i'm deeply sorry for you, i just long for someone who understands me, appreciates me, cares for me and loves me, above all else, fuck it.

He's 12 years older than me. Does this age gap suggest that we are not compatible? Is there a legal document stating that you can't date a guy 12 years older and the relationship won't work? I asked Ken, why do you love me. He replied, love needs no valid reason. It is true. You don't need to have an essay long reasons to love somebody. In fact, our 12 years age gap made us more evenly matched. We always have interesting conversation, we constantly learn from each other and we even have heaps of common interest from outdoor activities like body boarding, jungle trekking, skiing, traveling, clubbing, swimming, gym to indoor activities like cooking, watching series, wii-ing, all intrigue us!

Do i have to seek informed consent to love? To understand all the risks involved in a relationship? You must be kidding. I know every new relationship is worrying. I admit i have touch of insecurity sometimes not because our relationship is experiencing turbulence. It is just that he's too good to be true. We have never fought yet, that's peculiar. We seem to get along really well. I have never thrown a tantrum on him and he's never raised his voice or shouted at me. Maybe it's too early to say but one thing i can assure you is, we are happy at all thus far so stop worrying it's overwhelming.

  • Weekend gateaway: Gold Coast

A perfect sunny day at Brisbane Domestic Aiport in our rented Nissan.

Excitingly heading to ♥Gold Coast, a wonderland for all ages!

First place i visited in Gold Coast was....

The ♥Dracula's Haunted House♥ attraction presents an amazing interactive journey through creepy and blood curdling theme on every level of five levels featuring mind blurring optical illusions, animated sculptures, horror displays, endless haunted passages and thrills after one and another.

The most chilling part of the haunted house is, you have to FIND YOUR WAY OUT!
So most of the time you will be panting heavily for exits on each level!

A girl who never gets enough from ice cream!

My current obsession, frozen yogurt and Ken.

If you are interested to experience a real live shooting, visit ♥Australian Shooting Academy. They offer pistols, rifles and shotgun shooting in a safe fully supervised shooting range in the heart of Surfers Paradise, GC, but at exorbitant price!

We paid $135 for 50 bullets!

    Gay couple.

    Andiamo at ♥Conrad Jupiters.

The food was rather substandard. If i'm willing to try harder i can make better spaghetti marinara and braised lamb.

Brekkie early morning by the beach.

I was suprised the cafe is already packed at 8am. Don't these peoples think sleeping in is a luxury? I wouldn't get up if it wasn't for Dream World!

Salmon omelette with toasts, bacon and egg on toast with hash brown and tomato.

Gold Coast was fun and exciting although i was there for only 1 1/2 days and i paid $60 for only 4 rides out of the 50 rides at ♥Dream World! This's so aggravating because i ran out of time all the time for i had to complete my itinerary in a restricted time.

And i did not even have proper time to take decent amount of pictures!

♥Adrenalin Park, located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, features range of thrilling, stomach churning rides designed to inject a healthy dose of adrenaline into the bloodstream of visitors.

The cold killed my courage to try on the blood curdling rides.

We're at the world's tallest residential tower, ♥Q1♥.

Had a fabulous time with Ken at Q1. Had some chats and giggles while soothing ourselves with our lovely cocktails and wonderful panoramic view of Surfers Paradise.

The last few hours in GC before i drove back Brisbane to catch my flight!

Yes i drove in Queensland!!! All the way from GC to Brisbane, i was so proud of myself NOT until i was caught speeding at 130 km/hr by the stupid camera along the M1 freeway. I think the $160 fine is on its way to my mailbox! It has been 3 weeks, i reckon the camera did not manage to capture the number plate. Let's keep my fingers crossed. There was a good reason why i sped! We were in an effing hurry to,catch the last flight back to Sydney!

Well, we still missed our flights. Neither mine nor Ken's fault! Can you believe two pairs of eyes actually missed the airport sign along a huge freeway! It's uncomprehandable. I'm sure the signs were removed because of the road reconstruction on parts of M1 near the airport. That rendered us forking out more for the tickets next morning, and also a night in a super dodgy motel with a rip-off price!

    Grogginess.

I still think i had helluva fun in Queesland despite the chaos. Will definitely return! Keeping an eye on the fares now.

Next post, weekend gateaway to Blue Mountain!
    Till then XoXo~

  • Love is in the air.

I feel grateful for everything i'm having. He said he's lucky. But i'm more than fortunate to be embraced by his love and kindness. It's like a miracle. Being called lil' princess, i do feel like the happy princesses in the fairy tales. He's too good to be true and sometimes i wonder what have i done to deserve that. To be honest i'm a little worried if god will take everything away from me soon. For the present, i'm just thankful, wish everything will remain a little longer, hopefully forever.

Very random snapshots during the holiday.

    Me in my new room.

    Bliss after exam.

11 plates of Sushi. Beat Keedon by 3 plates!

    Partying with Adrianne and Jacquelyne.

    Luna Park.

    Seafood Buffet at Intercontinental Hotel.

    Driving in Sydney is fun.

Supported Jacquelyne on her Jay Chou's Singing Contest.

Bonnie and i got the same snowman pajama from Peter Alexander.

Queuing for Garden Buffet. If i looked different, that's because i wasn't wearing anything on my face.

Can't get enough Tiramisu from Movenpick.

    Ambling along Manly Beach.

Everyday's like a dream comes true.

Moving this king size bed was pain in the ass.

    On the way to Katoomba.

More soon, i'm adjusting to the new laptop.
